Tetravisc is another name for tetracaine. It has some different names in different countries, For example, tetrakaine is called tetracaine in Brazil.
Benzocaine lidocaine tetracaine can mix up to make lidocaine epinephrine tetracaine more potent. The local anesthetic effect of tetracaine for sale is 10 times stronger than procaine and 20 times more toxic. It can penetrate through the mucous membrane, mainly used for mucosal anesthesia. It takes effect in 1~3min and lasts for 20~40min. It has little damage to the mucosal epithelium but not affect the intraocular pressure and pupil. It is heat resistant and can be sterilized by high pressure.
People allergic to this product are not allowed. People with severe allergic constitution should not be allowed. Cardiac, renal insufficiency, myasthenia gravis and other patients are contraindication. Infiltration of local anesthesia, intravenous injection and intravenous drip are contraindication.
